Hickory is one of the hardest woods used for flooring in North America. It is extremely resistant to denting. Hickory is quite blonde in the select and better grade. However, in the character grade, deep reds flow through the wood for a beautiful texture, creating a vintage look. Hickory can be stained many colours to even out the appearance or to suit your decor. Hickory can be installed anywhere except bathrooms. It can even be installed in rec room applications (needs proper subfloor installation first which we provide). Hickory is available in Solid plank or engineered construction.
