  This floor is an excellent alternative to the barn board floor.  It has similiar circle sawn marks and character that resemble the barn board floor.  This floor features lumber that is rough sawn or circle sawn on the top.  This is done at the mill by a blade with an approximate diameter of 3'.  This technique is not done on-site and is not artificially created.   Irregular blade marks appear throughout the boards.  The floor is sanded on-site but not to the point where it is flat.  A Circle Sawn or rough sawn floor gives the client so much more longevity out of their flooring, surpassing anything bought prefinished.  Denting the floor is no longer a worry.  It holds up very well to children, dogs, and general wear and tear.  This technique also gives a look full of character and beauty.  This look can only be obtained by a circle saw floor.  This is the real thing!  This floor is currently available  in ash and red maple.
